Answers:
• Which style of
condo would my kitty like best?
Good question! Obseve your pet - does he like to play and hide under the bed in
a semi-enclosed area? Does he like to stretch out full length in the sun or does
he prefer to curl up and snuggle in a circular manner? Knowing your pets likes
and dislikes is the best way to choose a condo for him.
• Where should I put
the condo?
Place your new piece of furniture in the room where you spend the most time.
Cats love to be close to their "parents". Also, try to situate the condo close
to a window. Cats love to bask in the sun and watch the activity outside.
• Can I order a
specific color?
Yes. We ask that you don't get REAL specific (i.e. goldish-tan with a touch of
orange) but we do take color requests. Fufilling the order is subject to the
availability of carpet. Specifying a second choice is always a good idea. Hint:
The larger units look nice when we two-tone them with a neutral beige, off white
or complementary color. If you tell us your color scheme, we could use our
practiced eye to come up with something complementary for your room.
• How do I care for
my new piece of cat furniture?
Any product that is used to clean and maintain the carpet in your home is ideal.
We buy the same stain-resistant, wear-dated carpet you purchase for your own
home. Any cat hair can be picked up with a vacuum cleaner or grooming brush.
• Can my cat really
jump from one perch to the next-it looks rather high?
Cats are very agile and have a great sense of balance. Our trees are designed so
the cats can easily climb form one perch to another. Cats love to get up high
and watch the world go by!
• My cat is
"pleasantly plump" and I am concerned that he won't fit through the opening.
Our houses were developed to accomodate cats of all sizes, shapes, and ages.
• My cat has been
scratching the back of my chair - will he use the condo instead?
Usually, yes. We suggest you place the condo in the vicinity of the area you
want to discourage them from using (if possible). Then gradually move the
furniture away from the chair to the place where you would like to the furniture
to remain.
